"Feb. 20204. Sunday my10 old heater lost a motor. Monday these guys diagnosed the issue in about 1/2 hour. Ordered the part and installed the new motor on Thursday in about a half hour. Life is good. So are these guys. Highly recommend their service."

"From the start Modern Air was very professional. The individual that answered the phone scheduled the appointment quickly, and said that Billy would be out between 12-2pm. I received a call from Billy saying he was running ahead of schedule and could come out about a half hour earlier. He showed up promptly and thought he saw the problem immediately, but still would not work properly, he came back same day for further investigation and re-balanced the heat, which solved the problem. Great service."

"-Can you give me a bit more information? I'm have not been at the site, but would like to know: What brand and model did I buy? Why is this information not on the invoice—which came very quickly, but with very little specifics. —You are replacing one you put in less than a year ago because of problems with a shared hot water heater vent. (No idea why that was a problem. You saw it and never suggested it might be.) --Does the new three year warranty on service start right now, since it was installed just today? --Does this have any effect on the Trane AC you installed earlier? --What level of High Eff. is it--90%, 95%- ? --Is HE more expensive to repair than 80%? --Which is more reliable? I could not be there and deal with this directly, but due to family needs we spend much time in Daly City. But it is disappointing when you installed everything less than a year ago, and now you say my system was the problem all the time. Why didn't you see it then? If this one has problems, how do I know it will not be "my" fault in the future? Everyone at Modern has been pleasant, and I truly appreciate that. Thank you. I know you don't like return calls; believe me, when we are freezing we sure don't want to have to make them. But the outcome is disappointing. I think for sure the error that caused all the problems should have been seen by your crew beforehand--for sure. How many of these have you installed? Thousands? Mine is nothing unique. I simply cannot afford such surprises, nor do I think I should have had to pay so much for this exchange. But my wife and I are both in our 80s; we're very old and very cold and feel trapped over a barrel. Norm Smith"

"Thankful for the great service from Modern Air. Seth and Billy are personable, friendly, and professional. I set up an appointment with Seth. Billy came to the house promptly, summarized the problem, and gave a clear account with just the right amount of detail which helped us decide on a course of action. As soon as the part was available, Seth set up a time for the next day, installed and tested the heater, and just like that, the problem was solved. Thank you, Modern Air!"

"My experience with Modern Air was exceptional in every way. First, they did an outstanding job communicating the process to me, including explaining possible problems and additional expenses and how they would manage that. They also delivered a clearly articulated proposal that explained everything they accomplished in the works, which was managing the permit and testing process, replacing two HVAC systems in their entirety, and addressing issues that might prevent our ability to pass the HERS test. The technicians who did the work were very professional, thorough and polite and their work was impeccable. Everyone at the company was very responsive with every question and request I made. Their work was on time, on budget, and seamless. I barely noticed that they were in our house working on our HVAC system in the middle of winter. Our house is so much warmer now and the systems function so much better than the ones we replaced. Modern Air and all of the employees I engaged with demonstrated such rare integrity. Choosing Modern Air was the best decision ever."
