"I may not be an expert on what is authentic Indian food but we stopped for pickup here on our way through San Jose and got Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Biryani with naan. The order was ready at least five minutes early and the food was perfect, served two adults and a toddler twice. The people were very nice and the food was delicious"

"Really delicious food and friendly service. There is a parking lot in the Front so no issues with parking. When you walk in there are plenty of tables and chairs. We went as a big group and we had no issues finding a place to sit despite the large lunch crowd. We ordered samosas,chaat, butter chicken,garlic naan,lamb curry,chili chicken Everything was so good. Great portions, nothing was overly spicy, and prices were fine for the amount I got. And they have a best sweets too."

"I had a rather disappointing experience at the "Jewel of India" recently. I ordered a Jalebi and it was far from fresh. In fact, it had a sour taste and seemed old. The overall quality of the jalebi was far below expectations. I hope the restaurant can take steps to ensure better quality and freshness in their dishes to provide a more enjoyable dining experience.."

"Food is pathetic, dahi wada is not even near the taste of it. Dal tadka was fine. Gaelic chicken gravy was ok but the chicken was very smelly . Only two people were at the counter not really good at managing. Overall experience is poor"

"Got samosas from this place, was very good. The place is small, only 3 tables, max 12 people can eat at the same time. There were variety of sweet and savory, yet to try. Updated on April 24th 2023: The parathas are too good. I tried aloo, muli and gobi paratha. All were super tasty, good spicy and not too oily. I did not like the jalebees, they were not crispy as they should be. Also, I did not find it right to get charged $5 for a small bowl of raita."
