"Our "go to" restaurant when we're in Benicia, food and service is always great. For Ash Wednesday, and Lent in general, we get the Walnut Prawns, Prawns with Mixed Vegetables, Tofu Chow Fun, and Fried Rice. We got some free tea while we waited for our Take Out order. For Lunar New Year gifts, we got some free extra fortune cookies, lucky candies, and Lucky Red Envelopes for our grandkids! Thank you Cindy."

"We come back to this place for their Lemon Chicken. It’s superb. We also love their chow mien, fried rice, Sweet & Sour Chicken, and more. Very traditional Chinese Food Restaurant, with great service, great for families."

"It disappoints and saddens me to write this review. This place always served excellent, tasty food. It was one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area. Picked up food to go this evening, shrimp chow mein and pot stickers. The pot stickers didn’t seem cooked. No fried crust on the bottom, and the dough was so thick, I could hardly stick a fork in it. It seemed like a frozen item. They also haven’t served these with the dipping sauce that was so yummy. Although, I prefer less veggies in my chow mein, I didn’t ask for any changes. It had very little veggies, and was very bland. The shrimp was tasteless without even salt. The restaurant was empty, not even take out orders. The rest of First st restaurants were very busy. Won’t go back after going there for over 30 years. So sad!"
