"Upscale filipino restaurant. This place is very popular. We got there at opening at 12:00 and there was already a line. We got seated at around 1:00. Service was very quick. We had a variety of dishes. The sisig was great as well as the grilled squid. Kare-Kare was good. The only one that wasn't that good was the crispy beef ribs, which was dry. The place is really nice."

"Nicely located right in the heart of San Mateo. Parking is difficult to find, especially on weekends. Paid parking only except weekends. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating available. Having a reservation is highly recommended no matter if it's for a solo or group dining. Nice modern decor. Spacious enough for group dining. Lots of food on the menu. I ordered their Bulalo (beef soup) and garlic chicken. Their Bulalo was delicious and could serve 2-3 people. I was seated at the bar since I was a solo diner. Bartender took quite a while to get my order even if I was the only one at the bar. After taking my order, I never saw him until I asked for my check. Service needs to be improved for sure."

"Nice Filipino restaurant in Downtown San Mateo. Well decorated and great ambience atmosphere. The staff are remarkably fast and helpful. Some are humorous but some pretty serious. The food was great. I visited this place multiple times with either my family or friends. They also complimented the food. Our favorite would be garlic rice, Inihaw na pusit (jumbo) and Crispy pata. I would also want to try their desserts, especially the Halo halo, Filipino well-known national dessert, but we always over ordered the food. Cannot order any desserts."

"This place is really cute. It makes you feel like you want to be there. I’ve been there several times I’ve had all of the pork dishes which is delicious. You should give that a try in the other hand the Pancit was not all that good. I recently had the shrimp and it was swimming in oil Very disappointing. Overall the food is good definitely worth a try. Service is very nice and helpful."
