Big O Tires

"I encountered one of the rudest sales people at Big O Tires in Pinole. A young man who insisted on talking with his colleague while keeping me waiting. I think his name was Anthony. When I asked to be served, he rudely told me to wait, since I had "just got there." When I asked if he had heard of customer service, he retorted, "Have you ever heard of being polite?" I walked out. Will never give them my business again."

"Scheduled an appointment over the phone to get 4 new tires, paid a down payment, and never got a confirmation email or time to take my car in. I had to call them the next day just to get a vague time frame for when I would be able to bring it in. About an hour after I dropped it off, they called me and told me my radiator was cracked and leaking coolant. I found that quite strange since I had just taken it in to my mechanic the day before. They said they could fix it for I believe $600, but I declined. I picked up my car after the tires were installed. They charged me for a 3 year protection plan I didn’t agree to, and also didn’t bother to spell my name correctly (there’s no P in my name). Today, I had a mechanic look at the radiator and nothing. No cracks, no coolant leaking. 1 star for actually putting my tires on. -4 making me do the scheduling work, lying to me over the phone trying cheat me out $600, not asking before charging me for a protection plan, and getting my name wrong."

"Woke up ready to drive to lake Tahoe and to my surprise there was a FAT nail in my back tire. Last minute without an appointment we rushed to Big O Tires only to realize i lost my wheel lock for my Honda CRV. I thought I was going to have to cancel my trip but they quickly found one that unlocked my wheel and we're able to replace it. They are fast, honest, helpful, and kind. They have a little kids table in their waiting area too which is great."

"This place ruined the edges of my rim that was brought in to check for a leak because I would have to put air every 2-3 days (losing up to 10psi). I’m guessing they patched the tire because they removed the tire off the rim but man, the person who worked on it tried to hide the scratches with a sharpie. I told the representative inside what had happened but I just told them what’s done is done but to tell the mechanic thanks for coloring it in with a sharpie. They couldn’t even tell me if it was a nail or screw or whatever that was causing the leak because no communication was written on work order. I’d ONLY bring my stock wheels to be worked here, maybe not, if I didn’t care about the out come. I knew I should have waited for the competitor across the street to open. The representative inside writing up the work order was the only good part of this whole experience. SO PEOPLE WITH RIMS STAY AWAY FROM HERE."

"Bought set of 4 Michelon tires, had to take car back because they did not balance the tires then again cause tire light wouldn't go off just to realize a couple days later they stole my tire preassure checker. It was a shape of a tire guess they felt they could help themselves. NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN MOST DISHONEST COMPANY. I'd rather pay more from another company then ever come back here. Fyi advertised about 800 for cost and paid 1200. Such con artist. Lesson learned."
