The Bagel Bakery 130 Country Club Gate Center, Pacific Grove, CA 93950

"This is a great shop staff are so friendly, I will be getting my bagels here in the morning. Working in the parking lot is great because it's shaded. That said, on a tangent here, I couldn't help but notice two vehicles park next to me, and both drivers were wearing "green" shirts. Also, both drivers were making darting glances at me? The driver of the Ford (older lady) keeps staring at me. ...doing nothing for over 40 minutes. Then, the other driver with a bike rack pulls in, and 4 kids unload. They start playing football in the parking lot, are yelling/jumping, and making plays right by my car? (Not anyone elses car?)It's a big parking lot.... nor really sure what makes this location special. (While they were staring at me) I had to kindly remind them (twice) that the parking lot is not a playground. (Side note: I've spent a lot of time in parking lots, skateboarding, or riding BMX.never once would I feel like i am being surrounded... yet now, I am routinely inundated with a visual appearance of senior citizens and people with kids.) "Bagels were very good. But $13 for 3 buttered toasted regular bagels and a 16oz bottle of soda seems a little high. I guess there is tax and the soda was probably $3. I asked two times for just “a little butter” and of course too much was put on and it leaked through the bag and onto my car interior. And they forgot napkins."

"On more of the expensive side in terms of bagels however they were incredibly good. I had their salt bagel sandwich and I throughly enjoyed it"

"The bagel selection was decent, but aside from cinnamon raisin there weren’t any sweeter flavors. They have a good size sandwich selection, but all three of our sandwiches we had were pretty bland despite having a variety of ingredients and onions on my bagel were burnt. The staff were nice, but I had to tell her my order three times while she was making it because she didn’t write it down and couldn’t recall what I’d ordered. Overall, I was not impressed."
