"As we arrived a family was leaving because they said the waitress was angry. We looked inside and saw numerous open tables, maybe 2 tables being used. Before we even opened the door she came out and said we had to sign the list and wait 15 mins, there were open tables, we would have been patient. She was not polite. We left, this place sucks, spend your money elsewhere."

"The old witch-like white woman with cartoonishly large black framed glasses is the rudest waitress I’ve ever encountered at a restaurant. I walked in with a smile and a hello, she didn’t greet me and proceeded to refuse me service because I didn’t order food automatically. It was 11:30am on a Thursday, only two tables were taken in the restaurant and one family was even getting ready to leave. I wanted to order coffee and sip it for a moment before ordering breakfast and she said I couldn’t. I’ve lived in this neighborhood for awhile and I’m so disappointed at the treatment I received here. I’m African American and suggest not to come here if you don’t want to be treated like it’s the 50’s."

"I really wish we could’ve eaten here but as soon as we walked in the waitress made us stand outside with small children to wait for a table even though there were several available tables. We would have sat down peacefully at a table and waited for service. It would be different if she was nice about it too, but she was not. Closed the door right in our faces and stuck a sign up sheet on the wall. No thank you."

"Best breakfast. I got the denver omelette it was hot and great. The Service is fast and very attentive. Its right across the street from the boardwalk. Excellent."

"We were visiting for Ironman 70.3. The yelp reviews were questionable, but we were hungry. I waited 5 mins to get seated for lunch, got water, and ordered almost immediately. They were busy but not bad. I got food in a reasonable amount of time. The food was excellent, good old home style cooking. Service was also good—lovely young ladies and always there when needed. I would highly recommend this place. Probably not best for any picky eaters as menu is small but all items look good."
