"I love a good diner, and Jim's fits the bill. Monster breakfasts, a classic counter, friendly servers, crunchy hash browns, and booths even if you're a solo diner. Historical Alameda images and random nostalgia line the walls. I mostly go for breakfast (all day) but the sandwiches are solid, too."

"Great local diner. Better than the other famous diner on the island in my opinion. Not usually a long wait or huge line out the door. Plenty of comfortable seating. No flies like the other diner in town. Booth seating is clean and comfortable. Service is exceptional. You'll always feel like you're a regular. Expect your regular diner food. Huge servings of food. Crispy chicken and waffles."
