"Today we were in Red Bluff on business and had heard that La Corona was a great mom and pop Mexican food restaurant and we had to give it a shot. Well damn good thing we did! The service and food were amazing! Waiters/waitress teams kicked butt! Chips and salsa right away, drinks to follow! Food is like grandma made it! Robust flavor of home cooking. My wife had grilled chicken tostada supreme, and I had the chili Colorado plate with a grilled jalapeño! Ohhh My Goodness! Off the hook! Nothing better! If you're in Red Bluff, do yourself a flavor favor, LA Corona! 7-27-22 Another amazing meal today for lunch! Service could not be any better! These folks rock with both fantastic authentic Mexican food and even better service! If you are in Redbluff, don't miss the opportunity to eat here! 3-5-24 Lunch today. Such awesome folks. Today we were served by Juan and Vanessa, both are superstars! Food is always amazing. Authentic and delicious! I don't get here enough, it's an hour trip from home but so worth the drive! I promise to make it more often. When in Red Bluff, or just passing by, LA Corona is definitely worth the stop!"

"In my opinion, La Corona is the "gold standard" for Mexican restaurants. There is a reason why they have been in business for so long, and that their best advertising is word-of-mouth! All the dishes I have had are excellent--I especially love the fish tacos and fish burrito. Best in town! The grilled chicken taco is also superb as are the tostadas. The chips and salsa, which are made there, again are the "gold standard"--chips are served warm and the salsa is thick--the way it should be (not thin and runny like most of the other places). The owners/staff, chefs and servers are all wonderful, sweet people and will treat you like family! And the atmosphere is what you would expect for a Mexican restaurant, pleasant, not too noisy. The best time to go is in the mid-afternoon, before the dinner crowd."

"I have been going here for many years. I think they have the best Salsa in Red Bluff for sure! Then there is the friendliness of the entire staff! It has a very small "hometown" feel to it, that supersedes that of plenty of other Mexican Restaurants I have visited in Cali, the USA and the world. I usually see many of the ranchers of the local area that are in the beef or the sheep/goat business in here almost every time I visit. My nephew loves their shrimp burritos! Still family owned, Juan made me feel like family just last night after grabbing a to-go order after a busy day of work. I recommend this place for sure!"

"The restaurant itself is fine if you don't mind canned ingredients, and the owner is very cool. My issue is the main waitress that always gives me an attitude when I send an item that was ordered with no vegetables back to the kitchen because it was made loaded with the veggies cooked in. The two times I sucked it up, dealt with the gross flavor and just picked all the veggies out (which takes 10+ minutes while the food is losing it's heat) -- she still kept coming to the table to roll her eyes at me a throw around some attitude. Life's just too short for me to pay good money to be abused and condescended to. I was only there to get a gift certificate for my mother-in-law who loves the place, but Google wanted an honest review so there it is."
