"Very average bakery with cookies, pastries, donuts and savory flatbreads. We stopped in while walking down Main St and looked at everything in the display case while we waited patiently in line. Prices seem to be on the high side, but that's what I would expect for downtown HMB. I picked up a gingerbread cookie to try and was pretty disappointed at how it lacked any actual ginger flavor. The cookie itself was cakey looking, but somehow very dry and didn't taste fresh. I've had better baked goods from grocery stores, next time we'll skip this bakery and get ice cream somewhere else instead."

"Thank you Half Moon Bay Bakery for making our DELICIOUS wedding cake + cupcakes. Everyone loved them and it turned out absolutely beautiful. We got married last month in Half Moon Bay and we're so happy we ordered with y'all. If you're looking for a place to order a wedding cake or birthday cake or any day cake you've found the place. We went with the white cake with whipped cream frosting and the chocolate cupcakes they sell every day. The best of both world truly! They do cake tastings and they delivered our cake to the venue. Thanks Janel for all your help. We'll be back for more cakes + cupcakes on our 1 year anniversary. :)"

"Update 7/29/2023: the quality here seems to have gone down. The ‘scone’ was greasy, sourdough baguette looked non-sourdough. Croissant was stale. Small but well-stocked bakery, right in the middle of half Moon Bay the prices are very reasonable. If you have a sweet tooth, then lots of cookies"

"Small bakery shop since 1927. Interesting story about the history. Many selection to choose from. When we arrived we have couple customers in front of us. Of course all sweet. They are very friendly. We bought pumpkin bread based on recommendation from what we read from one of the news. Seems like they have more mexican type pastries than others."
