"I’m writing this review because im so tired of hearing that young people are not doing their jobs, for the last 25 years, there have been mostly young people (16-20) taking orders @ the counter, otherwise there was a Lady that worked the breakfast for many years, She is no longer there, but she was very fast and efficient. I have never had a rude or unprofessional or disrespectful encounter with the employees, they are very pleasant and helpful, even if you ask for changes to a meal for preference they are always accommodating. As a cook and prep cook, waitress and baker, i would like to congratulate ELLIE’s on their dedication to employee appreciation and staying open during the c19 pandemic and always doing their best to provide a healthy and Lovely food and dining experience. Thank You ❣️"

"This place is gross. They let people with dogs inside. Lady was petting her hairy dog as I watched the dog hair go all over. Manager did nothing about it and said they are pet friendly. Sorry..it's a food establishment and pet friendly is different then someone having a disability dog. This was not the case. I will never go back there again. Plus they have children working there that have zero sense of Urgency. Gross!!!"

"This place is insanely good and fantastic service. The menu is extensive but it was all simply delicious. We went for lunch at the last minute. Very casual but so enjoyable. We had chorizo tacos, avo chicken salad and one of their special recipe Johnny cakes for something sweet at the end. Very reasonable priced and generous portions. For good American and Mexican food with a casual but authentic vibe, look no further. Catalina was our server and she gets a 10/10. We loved it!"

"For those of you who are EMH virgins, know this: there is no better all-around home cooking spot for breakfast & lunch for 50 miles along Highway 101 between Cloverdale and Willits. Ellie’s is super well-staffed, which means customers are greeted, helped, and served in record time. Plenty of comfort food (sausage patties, flapjacks) + healthy food (tofu scramble, avocado toast) for breakfast, ditto for lunch. Outdoor shaded patio dining means there’s space for well-behaved dogs. N the bathrooms are ADA accessible and clean. This is a big-time locals hangout, and the prices reflect both the region (reasonable plate prices) yet are not cheap (coffee is $3.50 , fresh-squeezed OJ is $8.50). But the coffee is refillable — we were given a thermos — and the OJ was fabulous."
