I understand that there are no options for returning this part because they will say that I installed it by myself."

I had to pay for return shipping using the automated system. I got my refund but not for the shipping. Now I am out my labor for the defective part and return shipping! No way to contact a rep to find a resolution."
"I have been dealing with RockAuto for many years. I recently purchased a new fixer upper truck and started buying a lot of parts. One box had the wrong wires, but they were replaced immediately upon dropping off the return package with the free label. Shipping damage, the same. I ordered a wrong part, small shipping fee. No problem. The key here is to know what you are doing and planning ahead. If you don’t want to have the package dropped off at your door, you can always just go downtown and pay a lot more. I had to do that with an emergency part. Cost me double. I never have had a situation where RockAuto failed to honor the contract."
