"I was very disappointed in this salon. You should never judge a book by its cover, but in this case, I would. It was difficult to find... in the basement of a building. I wasn't impressed when I walked in with the salon itself. I have fine, somewhat curly hair that is going grey and is a little thin on top as I'm over 50. Morgan did not assess my hair needs other than to say I should moisturize, which I do. The first thing she asked was, "so are you just needing a hair cut or do you want product recommendations?". I'm thinking and said "Well, I'm here for a hair cut and I'll see how well the products are that you use to see if I want to buy them." I just thought it odd to ask that before she even touched my hair. I had already washed and moisturized so she didn't need to do that. She barely trimmed the length and my bangs, didn't make any recommendations on hair style so I said I usually wear it curly. She put gel in, finger curled it, blew it 80 percent dry with a diffuser, and didn't touch the top of my hair. I asked her what about styling the top and she just put a little texterizer on it but did nothing else... no curling with a curling iron or anything. The top looked horrible. I walked out with partially wet hair, no styling at all to the top and was charged $60 for next to nothing done as well as no shampoo. I would have thought it would have at least been less since she didn't have to shampoo. I had to go straight home and style my hair before I could go out. If I go to a salon and pay $60 I expect my hair to at least look good. A horrible experience and will never go back."
