"I went to Mid TN Dentistry Lauren Fields for a routine cleaning. They took many xrays & was told I needed 2 crowns. One on lower right & one on upper left. Dr Fields assured me my insurance would cover both. The one on the lower right was only partially coved & I paid $440.88. The crown for the upper left was denied by my insurance which they said was UNNECESSARY. I discussed with Dr Fields & she said she would send my insurance more documentation & get it resolved. I called my insurance, Envolve, which handles claims for Ascension Complete Several months later & spoke with Corina on 7-5-23 & she said no further documentation was received. I called Mid Tn Dentistry & informed them but I kept getting bills. I called Envolve again & spoke with Cheryl ref#107645745 & she informed me the claim was still denied even though documentation was received. Then instead of the $274.58 bills I had been receiving, mid Tn Dentistry is now billing me for $321.09. In regards to the procedures which was very painful & very inexperienced. Every time i went it was very challenging for them to take off the temporary crowns with a lot of grinding. Dr Fields did the second one I feld like she had not done many of these procedures as she really struggled. These procedures have left me with sensitivity & weakness when chewing harder foods. I would suggest getting a second opinion if you use this dentist for any major procedures. ."
"Terrible experience. Office dentists are in an out. You never know who you are going to see. One lady told me they wouldn't see my child unless she had an X-ray and my insurance made her do it. I said that is NOT true. I think I know my insurance better than her. High pressure tactics without the good quality dentists. I stopped going here immediately and am glad I did. beware."
