"Went in for a steak and cheese. Left because the employee working on 6/27/2023 @ 2:30pm EST was immensely triggered by the simple act. So here's what happened: I go in, guy working there follows me in, asks what I want, tell him "steak and cheese, footlong, Italian" -- same thing I've been getting for years, whatever, no big deal. Guy starts asking me if I want peppers and onions on it before anything else, I'm like "nah". I tell him what cheese I want, ask to add bacon, he tells me he's gonna convert it to a "number 3" or whatever on the new menu they got. I tell him I don't want all of that, he says he can "adjust it off". I wonder out loud why Subway tried to fix something that wasn't broken. He then says the build-as-you-want menu's going away in September or something. Whatever, Jersey Mike's is down the road, and I say so with a laugh. Dude legit lost his temper like he owned the place and I was a health inspector. He then tells me he won't make my sandwich and to get out. I ask to speak to his manager, look for the franchise owner information, he then tells me he WILL make my sandwich. Gets it in the oven, admits he took it the wrong way, doubles down anyway, gets the sandwich out of the oven, and proceeds to just destroy it in front of me saying he's not going to make it after all. Then he calls Curtis, his regional manager (apparently?) and starts screaming at HIM. I left. Might go back with a camera crew, but that'd be it and not to buy anything."
"Clean appearance leading to the bar. Quality Customer Service , with lots of Laugh with The Employees while going down the bar making the sandwich. Don’t see genuine customer service like that much at all anymore"
