"If I could give this restaurant more than 5 stars, I would. My high expectations, after reading a few of the many stellar reviews here that were earned while the restaurant was still in the middle of its soft opening, were more than fulfilled. The renovations of the interior, exterior, and most importantly the menu, were all skillfully completed. ¡Enhorabuena to the team that executed this makeover. The restaurant is beautiful and classy; the atmosphere is comfortable and inviting; and the quality of the food is simply praiseworthy. I ordered off-menu — a plate of barbacoa, pollo asado con pimientos y cebollas, and arroz con sabor — with queso and tomatillo-chipotle salsa on the side. The flavors were sublime, and I could taste real Mexican oregano (not the more common Italian oregano) as well as Mexican cinnamon. Nothing was overly salty, as is too often the case at Nashville eateries. All of the staff were attentive, the service was timely, and the whole experience was high above what I've experienced at all of the other Mexican restaurants I've tried in Nashville. This is certainly a place you could go for a quick, casual meal; but it's also more than suitable for a fun date night."
