"Placed a pick up order via phone. The person taking the order was nice. I had never been to this place before. It’s your typical dive bar but it was packed on a Saturday late afternoon. FYI this is a CASH ONLY establishment. Maybe there is a sign in the building that I missed that said this but I definitely wasn’t told when I placed my order via phone. Paid $31 for cheeseburger and fries and about 7 small drummies. Seems a little expensive but maybe this is the typical price for dive bar food. I was never shown a receipt so I can’t tell you the price for each item. Food was fine."
"Nice dive bar. Cash only, but they have an ATM. Burgers and wings were reasonably sized and priced. Limited draft list, but there's probably something there you'll like. Good conversations and friendly service."
"Alex's was recommended by a local. Well outside of the tourist area, the owner was extremely nice. Excellent gumbo and wings. Would highly recommend for someone looking for an out of the way dive bar with excellent food and service"
