"food on bar was not good. Tried several (6) items. Left on plate and bowl. Server did not ask anything dropped check. Waited awhile before return. Said I did not like anything on bar can I just get a hot fudge cake. Thankfully that was good. Went to pay and she just scanned and took money. Did not ask any other questions and left 15 bar on the check. Then wished me a good day. Waste of money and 35 minutes minus the hot fudge cake."

"This is a pretty nice Shoney's compared to others I have visited the past few years. The staff was very friendly. The food bar was pretty good. The food is just average nothing spectacular, just basic comfort food. I still miss the old chicken sweet and sour sauce and there are no sunflower seeds on the food bar. The macaroni salad and hot fudge cake were just as amazing as always."
"From the moment we walked into Shoney's Lenoir City this morning we were impressed with the warmth of the employees and the cleanliness of the restaurant. Every employee had a kind smile on their face. Our waitress, Denise was very attentive, very sweet and anticipated our needs. She deserves a gold ⭐!!! In our 65 years of life we have never seen a Shoney's function at such a high level as this one. There was designated staff tending to the breakfast buffet at all times. They were constantly tidying up the buffet area. They always kept the food fresh and rotated, and they kept food bins full. And they were all helpful, friendly and attentive. We were really blown away by this remarkable group of employees who represent and serve this business. It has been years since we have had this quality of service. We felt at home and welcome. We will definitely be back. We highly recommend a visit to the Lenoir City Shoney's."
