"First time eating here. The young woman who took my order was very friendly. I asked what her fav sauce was so I tried it (H2). It was delicious. The cashier was nice also. I didn’t get their names. The chicken was DELICIOUS! I am so glad we ate there so it was freshly made. I love that the fries are shoestring style. I gave them 4 stars for the atmosphere because there isn’t much seating and it got crowded. Guess that’s not their fault. Highly recommend!"

"I don’t agree with these one-star reviews. If you are looking for a local mom and pop shop with made-from-scratch chicken tenders, salads, and homemade sauces, and friendly personable service this is your place. If you are looking for a pretentiously decorated, expensive gourmet bistro this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a chain restaurant that reheats premade frozen food, this also is not your place. The H2 sauce is excellent! Our food was hot, fresh, and out to us quickly. There is limited seating inside but that is obvious from its location. The broiled chicken is cooked with cilantro lime butter. Personally, I liked the fried chicken better than the broiled. Please bear in mind they have only been open a month so I imagine they are still working out the kinks. But I definitely enjoyed my meal and I plan to return. Slim chickens…yeesh…"

"The absolute BEST fried chicken tender salad I’ve ever eaten. The batter is light and airy. The honey mustard and ranch are homemade, as all their sauces are. The owner actually gave us a couple of broiled tenders to try and I almost cried they were so good! They are cooked in lime and cilantro butter. OMG!!!"

"Don’t waste your time or money with this place. This “restaurant” is beyond tiny, with about five tables inside, that are made up of the cheapest, most uncomfortable furniture possible. The ONLY thing they have for sale is fries, chicken, and lettuce with chicken. The sauces are weird flavors, with ingredients like horseradish and why they add chopped onions to their bbq sauce makes no sense. The entire space was filled with smoke, smelled like burnt oil, and hurt my throat to breathe. There were at least 10 people working behind the counter, yet it took about 30 mins to finally get our food. I ordered two grilled strips and fries and what I got was a portion smaller than a child’s meal. I have never seen such tiny strips-it looked like it was one strip, cut in half. The strips were set on top of the fries, which were cold, stale and soggy. I have no idea how they came up with the name “Maniacs” - not sure how it ties to chicken or this place. The place has no logo or theme to explain this. The interior is just a boring solid blue. The place should be called “boring, stingy, unenthusiastic, sane persons” instead. If you want chicken strips, Slim Chickens is only a half a mile down the street, has many more choices and is exponentially better…"
