"So I’m here to leave my honest review. Literally just walked out of this establishment and was gave very poor customer service. The first waitress who came over was rude, unfriendly and gave us an unwelcoming look. She didn’t even start us with an appetizer. However, she was being friendly with the men there. This is the most poor customer service I’ve ever received in my life. We had another waitress take over but we ended up leaving since we were baffled at the experience. I’ll admit the food is good but the customer service will ruin the experience. The owner of the the restaurant who I believe is a woman is just as rude and I do not recommend coming here."
"We didn't actually end up eating here because we couldn't get seated and the music was outrageously loud. We weren't even able to hear eachother right inside the door. I assume the food is great and authentic but wasn't worth trying given how awful the atmosphere was."
"A nice authentic dining establishment. As I work in this part of town, I noticed that there are very few restaurants that offer a good sit down meal. El Sabor Pochutlego is an exception. The dining area is varied and welcoming, the feel of a home dining area rather than a series of fast food tables. The menu isn't huge but the offerings are unique. Oaxacan food seems to be familiar but different from standard Mexican faire. The building looks more like a children's activity center than a restaurant with its colorful paint. I do recommend being careful in the parking lot because, as of this writing, there are some potholes to navigate. Please consider this restaurant for a nice family meal out of Oaxaca Mexico."
"Was so excited to try this place! Having heard so much about Oaxacan food, I was thrilled to find one here in Nashville. The mole negro is absolutely delicious! I was a little bit hesitant because i was worried it would be too sweet, but it was spot-on! Complex and rich. The tacos enchilados were so delicious! They were kind enough to let me order them with both sauces. The mole was great, but the salsa roja was addicting! I was surprised at how much I loved the red sauce. Their tamal are some of the biggest I've seen and they are absolutely delicious! Obviously freshly made in the restaurant. Soft eith a generous filling! Definitely coming again. I hope to try nopal next time"
