"Must stop spot if you’re ever in Nashville! It’s a bit of a drive from downtown but well worth it if you’re looking for some really good bbq. Seating is limited, just be aware of that when ordering at the counter. We were fortunate that someone was just leaving. I will definitely say this is the best brisket I have ever had. The cut was thick, juicy and the seasoned crust was so full of flavor. The sides were all good as well. Amazing!!!"

"Easily our favorite stop for BBQ in the Nashville area. Best pulled pork & chicken E.V.E.R. Tender, juicy - they only have plastic cutlery, so you know it falls right off the bone & melts in your mouth. End your meal with the banana pudding. Service is phenomenal - small homegrown style environment. If you’re in town, it’d be a crime to miss this place!"

"I’ve travelled through Memphis and Nashville and have eaten at an embarrassing amount of BBQ joints. Shotgun Willie’s has, in my opinion, the best ribs I have eaten. Up there with the best ribs I have ever eaten. Fantastic, smoked to perfection with the right amount of fall off the bone and still maintaining a nice bit of chew. Not chewy, but perfectly chewable. They have an excellent pepper rub, and didn’t need any sauce. With that said, I love sauce and theirs was incredible. Brisket was top notch. I prefer ribs over brisket. That being said, they had great brisket. Their sides were done to perfection, however my personal preference is for sweeter sides, like the bbq beans for instance. My friends from Texas would have been in heaven with these sides, and they were really good, just my personal preference is a bit different from what they served. Would I eat them again. 100% yeas and I would enjoy every second of it. Go there, eat meat, be happy."
