Waffle House

"The service made the atmosphere bad. The staff seemed to be overwhelmed and stressed, it was New Year's I'm sure that added to it. I've eaten here many times before never an experience this bad. The cooking area was almost disgusting, one of the waitresses grabbed a waffle off the iron after touching her hair with no glove. They were not greeting people as they entered in the way that is their signature. There were moments when the staff was nice, but there were more moments where they were curt with the patrons, one woman said hello kindly and was met with, "We saw you". The food was still Waffle House good but if anything else had been open I would've left. At least three groups did leave commenting on the rude staff on their way out. I want to stress that I pass through and eat at this Waffle House a lot, normally they are kind, but unfortunately this time it was so bad that I had to leave a review. On my way out I overheard a call with the staff and the manager discussing that it was time for at least two of them to leave but no one to cover their shift, the call probably should've been handled in private somewhere. But gave me insight as to why they were not being professional and kind. Companies have to do better with customer service. We aren't just paying for food, no one wants to spend money and get treated badly."

"Please review my other reviews. I have to be really impressed to leave a 5 star review. The gentleman that was cooking tonight 9/17/23 was incredibly good at his job! This was the best Waffle House meal I’ve ever had. Everything was cooked to perfection. Watching him cook my meal and the meals of others in the restaurant you could tell he loves his job and is the best at it. Waffle House, y’all have no idea how lucky y’all are to have such a great employee."

"I had the most excellent customer service. The server was very attentive, and the shock of the cook even came to check on my steak. To see if it was prepared the way I wanted it. Hats off to you guys I will be back"

"I had the patty melt this morning, and it was awesome! I arrived at 7:30 am, and seated quickly. The staff is friendly in a "everyone knows everyone " kind of way, which was great. I'm only passing through but this would be a great place for me to visit frequently if I lived hear."

"I walked into the waffle house and I wasn't welcomed with good afternoon or anything like that I was greeted with unless you're getting food to go you cannot stay here. I'm in a pickup truck pulling a camper and I blocked about five or six spaces. I was not able to use the three larger spots they were being used as a Time by a few different U-Haul vehicles. I explained to them that the three larger spots were occupied. I pointed out that they had 11 spaces plus the handicap spots available to other customers. If it would have been handled a little bit differently in the supervisor were not so snarky and her answers in the way she acted I would be much less irritated right now. The funny part is it's going to take me longer than it would have to finish my meal and drive away then it will for me to post this review and take some photos."
