"Oh my...you must eat at East Side Bahn Mi. We ordered several dishes to share with the whole family. Bahn Mi sandwiches, noodle bows, spring rolls, thinking we would surely have leftovers for another easy meal. You guessed it, we ate it all and have no regrets. It was delicious and I can't wait to go back."

"Embarking on a culinary journey at East Side Banh Mi was a flavorful adventure that exceeded expectations. The excellence of the food, particularly the sandwiches, resonated with freshness that showcased a commitment to quality. The staff's friendliness and helpfulness in providing recommendations heightened the overall dining experience, ensuring a personalized touch. A standout in the menu was the spring rolls with peanut sauce—an extraordinary rendition that elevated the dish to new heights. The peanut sauce, in particular, stood out as a star, surpassing the ordinary and adding a layer of richness to the already impressive spring rolls. The sweet potatoes were a delightful surprise, showcasing a level of excellence that extended beyond the expected. The sandwiches, featuring bread that was not only fresh but also incredibly delicious, stood as a testament to the attention to detail in crafting each dish. Exploring the bowls, one with tofu and rice, and the other with beef and noodles, both proved to be excellent choices. The sauces accompanying the bowls added a burst of tastiness that enhanced the overall flavors. In summary, East Side Banh Mi is undeniably awesome—a culinary haven where excellent food, welcoming staff, and unique flavors converge to create a dining experience worth savoring. It's a place that transcends the ordinary, leaving a lasting impression on those seeking a delicious and memorable meal."

"I love banh mi but where I live, it practically doesn’t exist! Traveling, this place hit the spot with their veggie bahn mi - tofu, eggplant and the usual banh mi veggies. The sandwich had a great smoked essence. The bread, perfectly crisp. I would definitely get again. I would love to see them add lemongrass tofu as an option since they do have lemongrass chicken."

"The sandwiches are the star of this place; service + atmosphere are just the cherry on top. Cannot get enough of this place, I actually drive 1 hr just to go enjoy a delicious bahn mi! Their seasonal lemonades are super delicious as well."

"I have been a longtime fan of East Side Banh Mi. The flavors are always great, the bread amazing and the staff uber friendly. Today, I decided take my sandwich home, hence the Boatswain Hazy IPA from Trader Joe's in the pictures. It was a perfect day in East Nashville - sitting on the porch, savoring my Banh Mi, enjoying my IPA and watching the sun set. So I had the Veggie with Chili Crisp Tofu and Roasted Eggplant - my go to sandwich. But today, I would actually give it a 4.5 today if I could. What brought the sandwich down was the eggplant as it need a little more roast. For those of you who love eggplant like I do, you'll understand. Some of the eggplant had that little bit of crunchiness that can be a bit off-putting. But the bread was spot on - deliciously light, crispy and chewy. The spice level on the Tofu and with the sandwich was perfect for me - enough to slap you on the face, but not so much that it knocks you out. All in all very satisfying. If you are in East Nashville - you have to try East Side Banh Mi! PS - for the record, I generally stay away from any restaurant that was on DDD as almost all I have visited were just so-so. Sorry Guy. Side Banh Mi is a unicorn and really delivers on the food."
