"I have been here a few times in the past, it has probably been close to 10 years ago since the last time I’ve been. Came in today and it was like time stood still. The food is amazing as ever. The quality of food you receive for the price, is crazy. Wish I still lived near by as I would come regularly. This place is a quintessential southern staple."

"My Dad was using a strollator, and the owner came out and assisted my Dad. Everyone was very friendly, and the food was great! I had the best squash casserole I have ever eaten. It’s not fancy, but sure good down south cooking!"

"Terrific little country diner that was well worth the 20 mile trip. We went for breakfast, our favorite meal of the day. We ordered the country fried steak breakfast, home fries, and biscuit and gravy, eggs over easy and a BLT with grits. The BLT was excellent. The toast and bacon were nice crisp. Just enough lettuce to add the taste and a slice of tomato that had a good flavor. Grits were cooked with the right combination of salt and pepper to give them a good taste. The country fried steak was a generous portion covered with country gravy. The biscuit with covered with the same gravy. The gravy had a good pepper flavor. The eggs were cooked as ordered."

"This is a great place to eat, sometimes a wait but people don’t mi d ya seating with em since most of the tables have more space than not. Great family atmosphere and the food is better than, you know, the other bfast place."
