"Day one of the last hard Freeze. A lot of items were out of stock but I still was able to leave with a few item's I needed . The young man working the cash register was very helpful too."

"Went in this afternoon and found a clearance table loaded with items and a sign clearly stating prices. I pick a couple things, take them to the register and, of course, I don't get the advertised price. When I ask the guy all I get is...I don't know, it's 50% off. So I walk over to the table and pull the sign off and bring it to him. "I don't know, I didn't put that there." That's fine. This isn't the first time DG has pulled this stuff. I called and reported it and I have pictures. I will be filing a complaint for false advertising with AGs office. I'm sick of these stores thinking that they can lie and cheat and just get away with this."
"I liked the store atmosphere. The cashier was helpful telling me where the locks were. I joined a gym so need a lock to store my stuff while I work out. Also bought some ink pens. I will return there again."
"I am always so upset when I go shop at this store. I worked for HEB a very long time and I can tell the store has problems. It seems to me they turn off the air conditioning at night and the products suffer from the Texas temperatures. The shelves never seem to catch up with product and have holes everywhere. The dairy is hit and miss for me when I try to uy my half and half at this store so I always buy two when they have it. I am not sure why the floors are not mopped and cleaning and the smell of clean seem to be limited. Now employees are also hit and miss they are always changing and missing for a long time then you see them again. Trust me I could write a lot because I have this kind of work experience. I just wish this store was important enough to the management and company to maintain higher standards and pride. The store means a lot to the neighborhood that depends on it. When you feel that companies care you spend a lot more money."
