Dollar General

"0 stars is what i give ya'll. You will be reported. You played like your system was down and As a customer and visitor to your town. I end up having to go way to another town to find out you lied. My card worked and the system was never down. I was informed Sante Fe is a prejudice town."

"Today Saturday 3/19/22 was the worst experience I have ever had in my shopping career. It should be zero stars really! When I was trying to check out the young man informed me that if I put in my phone number then I could not use paper coupons. He stated you cannot use digital and paper coupons and I said "yes you can", he said "no that that was stacking coupons." I asked for a mgr, the girl came over and asked what was going on while the line is building up. I told her what the young man had said and then together they're scrutinizing all my digital coupons that they can see and notice that I had a coupon similar to the paper coupon I had, I told her that that was her Store Coupon and I can do that because 1 was a store coupon the other is a manufacturer coupon, which she immediately says "that's stacking and they don't allow that at dollar general." I showed her on the dollar general app the coupon policy which states you can use a store coupon and a manufacturer coupon and she kept saying "that's using 2 coupons and that's stacking."I told her 1 is a store coupon and the other was a manufacturer, the lady behind me even stated that store coupons and manufacturers coupons are different, then she offered to pay for my stuff which I told her no thank you. I told her that it states right here that what I'm doing is okay to do, since the other register was down I told them to void my stuff and get the line down and if she had someone higher up to that I could speak to, she wouldn't give me anyone to speak with. After everyone checked out I tried speaking with her about the situation and she just kept saying that's stacking, which if she knew her store and policy, her register won't allow that, it would say there's no item for the 2nd manufacturer coupon on the same product. I showed her that this coupon says store coupon and this coupon says manufacturer I said see the difference why do you think it says store coupon, she says because dollar general sells it, ha, so I ask her why don't all the coupons say store coupon, then She goes back to her parrot self repeating "that's stacking and we don't allow that." I told her it's unfortunate that she doesn't even know how her store works and that her store gets money for the coupons used and she said not really. I do not appreciate how this young girl was speaking to me accusing me of something that I was not doing in a store full of people. She also told me to leave HER store, unbelievable. I'm very upset because there were things I wanted and now those coupons are expired and because of her ignorance I got nothing. Dollar general needs to teach their employees a thing or two."

"The store on 646 is very clean and employees helpful and friendly. 6/)28 Sunday early mid day. I go to this store I have been going to like every other day. They hired a new lady. I have seen her twice. behind the counter both times she was really rude when I asked about an item. I will not go back in here. They are not even recommending face mask and as much money as I spend in there I don't deserve to be talk to like she talked to me. She went out of her way to help an unmasked customer that was in line ahead of me."

"I shop at this store at least 4 times a week. It started out fantastic! Nice new well stocked store. The help were always fantastic. Sadly it’s falling way short of that now the past couple of months. Their orders come in and they clog the aisles for over a week. The great staff are down to just a couple left! Many times I pull in and the cashier is outside smoking and all the stock sits on the floor. They are out of stock frequently on items I had regularly bought. I was happy to have a well run store but it’s falling into the same POS run store as the one on highway 6. Guess management doesn’t give a damn. Very sad!"

"This is one of two new stores they have opened here in our town, bringing the total to four stores. These new stores are larger and have much more merchandise, especially in the grocery section. The staff at this store is friendly and helpful. My only issue is that the store is not particularly visible from the road if you don't know it's there."
