"Inside this place is a mess, boxes, loose stuffs all over the floor. The casher was so slow and not helpful at all. Check prices as they are scanned; I didn't notice before I left the store that 2 items were overcharged way more than posted prices."
"I have been going to this DG since I moved here for college in 2014. I haven’t had any problems until this year where the manager or whoever he claims to be came in and shook havoc. After summer is over , their items go on sale . But they are always late to putting up their signs nor are their items tagged the correct price. So I asked an employee how much a box of popsicles would be. She brings it to the manager and asked him and he tries to charge me $1.50 for them. Mind you, they are on clearance , HOWEVER , had I bought them at $1.50 , regular price would have been $5 . Those popsicles were $3.00 so I would have been cheated. The employee told him they were not regular price $5 so the discount should be cheaper . He gave them to me for .90 cent . I buy them but he charges me for an extra box that I do not have . So I tell him and he reacts as if he doesn’t believe me . So , as if we were in kindergarten, I had to stand there and count WITH him . He gives me my change back. After that , every experience felt tense when I went there . Even when I went to use coupons and the coupon said 2 per person ; he said he will only take one . It’s either a limit 2 from the coupon or 5 like the DG policy. He raised his voice so I took my coupons and left . Airtex location is fairly new but I don’t get all the hostility there . I won’t be going back to this one."
"I was a kind of difficult customer because of the amount of Items I wanted to purchase and the fact they most were on sale or from the clearance shelf which needed price over rides from the manager. Even though I needed extra attention from the manager due to my selections both she and the employee were very nice and patient. The only thing I could ask for would be more shopping cart!"
