We offer various services, including in-person tax preparation, drop-off tax preparation, and help with IRS letters. We recommend booking an appointment online or by calling (773) 878-8345 to reserve time with a Tax Pro, but walk-ins are also welcome at our 5214 N Western Avenue office.

While Refund Advance loans are no longer available this year, we offered Early Refund Advance at select locations from December 11, 2023, until January 14, 2023, and No Fee Refund Advance from January 2, 2024, at most locations until February 11, 2024. "So the Jackson Hewitt website says you can "Bring us your tax docs and let a Tax Pro handle it from there. No return visit required!" but when I went there I was told that if I drop them off, I would need to return to sign. He then took a quick look at my taxes and said it would be $250. I said I can't afford that and he tried to haggle with me on the price but still ultimately wanted way more than what turbotax would charge... Seems pretty shady to me"
