"This is a lovely walk! It's short but worth the views. There were wildflowers in November, which was gorgeous. If you like to collect shells, it's the BEST location for that! It's also a great place for family pics. I highly recommend it!"

"Nice little boardwalk to a remote beach area. Lots of shells and not many people."

"Hidden along Bluewater Highway in Freeport Texas, this beautiful nature trail park is a wonder! It was before sunset when we passed by to this place and decided to check it out. As we walked along the trail, we can hear the soft chirp of small birds perching on top of the bushes. This place has a wooden boardwalk which is a good platform for bird viewing, photography, and an access all the way to the beach side. I also find this place as serene and a good way to commune with nature. Wildlife viewing, beautiful backdrop of the sky, beach view and access are all in one package!"

"What a great place to access the beach. There is parking and a nice boardwalk to get over to the beach. Watch out for mosquitoes, but otherwise there is hardly anyone ever there. We go often and it’s quiet and nice there are some trash cans so you don’t litter the beach! That’s important!!!"

"Small trail, well kept, with signs describing the habitat found in these dunes. There are parking spaces by the entrance of the trail, but no car access to the beach at this point. Peaceful spot, good to relax, walk, look for shells, since not many people come to stay in this part of the beach."
