"Great for gravel riding. You can even do it on road tires as it’s not that chunky."

"It was a nice peaceful walk. Trail is gravel and there isn't much to look at. So the walk can seem never ending"

"Went a bit further afield today. Enjoyed being out in the country. It was a good 5 mile walk. Saw a historic bridge from the 1920’s. No shade on the path so glad we were here in January. Wish we could have seen more glimpses of the river."

"A great place for a day hike. This trail is especially great for the beginning hiker because it is level and the entire path is gravel. The path includes shaded forests and open prairie. If you are up for a bit more scenery and some uneven terrain, there is also an equestrian trail. Round trip from the access point at FM 455 to FM 428 is approximately 9 miles. At the time of this post the portion of the trail between FM 428 and US 380 is closed."
