"Hidden gem in Flower Mound! Volunteers maintain a Monarch butterfly waystation as well as a couple of native TX plant gardens. One of the quietest parks in the area."

"Green Acres Farm Memorial Park is a hidden gem in Flower Mound. A dedicated team of volunteers, including Texas Master Naturalists and Master Gardeners, maintain and improve the Monarch Way Station, Native Prairie Restoration and Riparian areas of the park. A great place for a picnic or a leisurely stroll, this park is a must-visit."

"Nice park hidden away in the town of Flower Mound. Never knew it existed until a couple of days ago. Great place to just go and just clear the head and calm the noise. Great place for a couple of Instagram worth shots with the butterfly garden, the water sheds and the trees. Walk around the edge and just little to the breeze and leaves rattling in the wind as your eyes take in all the changing colors around. It was very calming. Just one note of advise ...watch your step. My wife was trying to get a shot of the garden and didn't notice a fire ant mound until she stepped in it. She was pretty quick to notice and only got a couple of bits but they hurt."

"It was very peaceful. I like to go there a lot for picnics. I've even played catch with my friends there because it has a wide open field! Would recommend. It's usually kinda empty so it's likely you won't be interrupted."

"What a Gorgeous Park. The flowers & the wildlife was abundant. The rolling green hills & massive oak trees were stunning, however the people living in the neighborhood DON'T want to share this beautiful landscape with outsiders. I had the police called on me after being in the park for less than 30 minutes. Blatent lies were told to the police about my activities inside the park. Neighbors came out of their houses to spy on us. It was quite tragic. The police officers however were incredibly INCREDIBLY professional and understanding of the situation. I thanked them for remaining professional & objective. I will also take this moment to thank the people who called for giving me one of the highlights of my road trip! It was quite hilarious and made for an awesome story. All in all I would recommend driving through this tiny neighborhood with the music up as loud as possible and with skimpy clothing (they get extremely offended) some vulgarity wouldn't hurt either.... Just as long as you're within your legal rights, go crazy & make sure they hear ya!!!"
