"Beautiful hike. We saw mule deer, roadrunner, pelican, coot, ducks, and small fish and live muscles in the shallow waters on the shore. The views were amazing. The trail was well kept. We didn't hike the whole trail, but hope to one day!"

"The trail was not too steep. People have kept it clean yay people. Please don't litter on our trails. There were beautiful flowers in bloom. I went in early June. The views from different parts of the trail were amazing. This lake is an oasis in this semiarid area."

"A nice hike. The trail is in danger from the rising water, but for now it is a nice hike with wildlife and in the spring, wildflowers."
