"One of my favorite stops when road tripping. Clean bathrooms, outstanding rangers, gorgeous view but be careful at the end of summer with the tarantulas lol"

"Arrived after sunset but such a pretty view nonetheless. Just set my hammock up and had a great night. It’s totally free and easily accessible. Would highly recommend."

"I loved the view and the atmosphere so much that almost stayed another night! I was just passing through and was antsy to get to my destination, so moved along. My only complaint is that the bathrooms have fans or vents that are really loud and you can hear them running all the time from the camp site. That took away from the appeal for me. That being said, I did park in the closest spot to them, unintentionally. They do have running water for toilets, sinks, and showers. The view outweighed the noise for 1 night"

"Great spot to camp overlooking Lake Meredith, the views are massive, stretching on for miles. The amenities were clean but the spiders are lively, especially in the shrubs where the largest congregation of webs and spiders lined the lakeshore. One of the most unique lakes around."

"Free campground! Says there are showers and bathrooms. But the only bathrooms open were the ones by the boat ramp and they don't have showers. Nice clear water. It was cold!! Campsites overlook the water below. Really pretty sunsets!! The moon looked pretty cool too!!"
