"Garbage everywhere. Inconsistent lifeguarding. Glad i didn't buy season passes! I inquired why an 8yr old inching down the side of the pool by himself in water not over his head suddenly worthy of lifeguard reprimand. It had been allowed our previous visits over the previous 3 years. I was not reassured when informed by Supervisor Williams (only adult), that one life guard "did her job" in that time frame. Supervisor Williams first incorrectly assumed the kid couldn't swim. After he was informed otherwise, then he revised, solo "creeping down the wall instead fell under "'Horseplay'." Now utterly baffled, my inquiry for clarification was met with unhinged yelling and a changing explination to fit his shifting narritive. Supervisor Williams made an embarrassing scene for us all, wheather he realized it or not. This became a demonstration of "Obey my authority without question." My kids are confused about the rules, as am i, and several other adults who shared their feelings. Even as a trained mediator, with an extensive backround in psychology, i found it impossible to keep him calm or have a productive exchange. As small business owner myself, i can't imagine ever publicly humiliating a patron who is legitimately attempting to understand my policy. Especially if it was arbitrary, not clear or plainly posted, as in this case. I would never ever repeatedly interrupt or answer a question by yelling multiple times, "It's for your safety!!!" In doing so, reversing the productivity of the conversation to state the obvious. What a truely shameful example for the children and young adults under his direction and example. I avoid drama at all costs and try to sheild my children from this type of unevolved behavior. We came for wholesome, no stress activity. Instead, my children received a lesson about how egotistical males treat females they perceive as being of small value. This became a teaching moment for my daughter. This is not an acceptable way to allow herself to be treated. My son witnessed an example of challenges females face when unaccompanied my a male, and never duplicate this behavior. As a highly non-confrontational individual, this was traumatic, and has become further incentif to avoid people. Especially men."
"They have a lot of rules it’s the pool is really dirty but it’s really fun but every hour you have to get out. The life guards can be really rude"
"My granddaughter took swimming lessons here. They were so patient with her. Love the staff and the "boss". He's fun and sometimes silly."
"It's okay, the staff is very thorough for safety and has everyone exit the pool every hour, which is amazing! But the rules are really strict, my husband put his arm around me and they said hands off. Absolutely nothing inappropriate was going on. Made me feel really uncomfortable the rest of the time I was there."
"We had a great time at this pool. It is very clean and well-maintained. The lifeguard is attentive and always check everyone's safety. There is also a snack bar and the food prices are reasonable, not overpriced. But it is crowded when we visit and the bathroom is a little untidy. Overall, this is a great place to have fun and we will definitely return."
