Sparkly Maids

"I would not recommend Sparkly Maids. I had them do a post-construction clean for over $800 and wasn't satisfied. They did reach out and offer a re-clean which was nice but it was slightly awkward and I still wasn't totally satisfied. Because of the Customer Service though, I hired Sparkly Maids again to do a normal DEEP clean today for over $300. It was a complete rush job and I am not satisfied and will never call them back to come clean my house ever again. For the second clean, they arrived a few minutes early which was fine, but the cleaners proceeded to ring my doorbell 3 times because I didn't come to the door quick enough. That was the first indication of how quickly they were trying to move. The entire time they were cleaning I could tell they were rushing around and trying to get it done as soon as possible which would be great if they had actually cleaned it properly. I am in a 3 story 2/2.5 townhouse and they cleaned my place in 2.5 hours. A normal, thorough (deep clean) maid service typically takes much longer for a lower cost. After they left, my husband and I vacuumed our carpet and hardwood floors to pick up all the hair and dirt that was left behind. It was a pretty decent amount that makes me wonder if their vacuum is broken or if they just breezed over the floors. During my service the company called to inform me "pet hairs were found so they were going to charge an additional $45 for a pet cleaning fee" which I declined because a normal deep clean should cover that. I can't help but think that gave them an excuse to be more careless on the job. Pet hair on hardwood floors should get picked up just like any other hair or dirt. The photos attached are the dirt and hair picked up on HARDWOOD floors with my Dyson right after they left. Also a few other photos of the dirt on the floor prior to re-vacuuming and also a few dusty surfaces. I am not even going to talk about the carpet in our bedroom which was also still covered in hair and would have been picked up with a decent vacuum job (like we did in 5 min after they left)."
