"2023.09.14 Edit: Issues were addressed. Honestly I was being a Karen and just didn't understand how much the stripping would do for me, likely need a light sanding to achieve what I wanted. Everyone was very nice in getting me "re-serviced" (which in reality was educating me. Technician showed me a bunch of pictures and walked me through the process in all detail. Satisfied with the work and customer service. Having said that, the pricing is too high for this service. I had quotes to strip, screen, and re-coat for ~10% more, and that labor would have taken 2-3 days as opposed to the 4-5 hours that only stripping and coating took. Would have gone that direction with hindsight. 2023.08.28 Edit: Changing my review until issues are addressed. I was only able to fully walk through today, after I gave enough time for the sealant to cure before wearing shoes inside. My project was for Zerorez to strip, clean, and re-seal an area of hardwood. It's very apparent that the wood wasn't properly stripped, there is gunk, dirt, glitter, and other particles that were trapped by the new layer of sealant that Zerorez added. My guess is that the technician was just rushing to be done on a Saturday and cut corners on stripping the wax. At $4.50 / sq. ft. this is a very poorly done job. The stripping should have removed all of the wax, which should have also removed the gunk and should have allowed the technician to remove all the particles that would have been sitting on the top layer. Furthermore, there were more than a few scuffs that should have been removed through the process as the scuffs sit on the wax layers and do not penetrate the hardwood. Old review (2023.08.26): Zerorez requests a review immediately after job is done, I was unable to walk through the job until now. Easy to schedule, showed up on time and completed the project. Only one thing, didn’t affect me personally but just be sure your estimate is actually for the job you’re looking to get done so you’re not surprised by any changes. The estimate I was given over the phone was wrong (i think the person on the phone just got their numbers switched up), but I knew that ahead of time because i’d gotten other quotes and knew what to expect. The estimate did change on site after the technician arrived."
