"If I were y'all, I would do everything in my power to avoid this place. I went by today to drop off eight shirts to be starched and was told that the owner makes them charge two dollars per button if they have to unbutton your shirts when you drop them off. I had the girl bring back my shirts and I left and took them to another cleaners in town (who absolutely does NOT charge to unbutton shirts). Absolutely the worst business model ever. After having read these other reviews, I'm glad that I did not leave my shirts there."

"Ruined my mothers expensive silk dress for her granddaughter’s wedding. Owner -Marlowe will not answer emails or return calls. Scheduled a meeting with him and he was a NO SHOW. I wonder what Jack Godfrey will think?"

"Their promotion is if you drop off clothes by 9, they’ll be ready by 5. Clearly they don’t abide by this. We dropped clothes off at 7:30 AM, they were not ready to be picked up 5:15 PM. Okay, no big deal. They said they were very busy, so we went by the following morning on our way out of town at 7:45 AM. They still did not have the clothes ready and worse, they transport the clothes to the cleaner off of Pearl street to get washed, so we couldn’t even take the clothes before they were done. They then told us they were in transit, so we had to wait 45 minutes to get our clothes. They didn’t offer to give a discount or not charge us, we had to request it. And even then, they supposedly took off 50%, but it doesn’t show a discount on the receipt."

"Folks, avoid. Took comforter there, showed up to pick up and they could not find it. Was told I'd get a call that day, Friday. No Call. No Call on Saturday either. I called the shop Monday. Was told they would have owner call me. Owner calls and says the only holiday comforter they had had been picked up by a man... did my husband pick up? Nope. Come to find out it was at the store all along, including the first time I showed up for it. I go back to the store to pick it up - second time there. No apology, nothing. And - the white on the comforter is now pink which makes me think they did a warm water wash."
