"We came into Marfa after many dusty days in the Big Bend parks ready to do some laundry and this was a very cute and relaxing place to clean some clothes and get some work done in the comfortable waiting area with a couch and free wifi. Unfortunately, we happened to have bad luck with the large load machine, which seemed not to be filling with as much water as it should. We called the number provided and Evan, the new owner promptly arrived and gave us several machines to use at no extra cost. He was very kind and accommodating and had lots of good recommendations for places to visit in west Texas. Just our luck, we also had a problem with the dryer, but Evan handled that as well and we left feeling like we had a pleasant experience despite the technical difficulties. To be fair, it seemed like everyone else had zero problems with their laundry, just us. I only take 1 star off because of that, otherwise would definitely be 5. We would not hesitate to come back again!"
"We are staying in Fort Davis but the laundromat there was disgusting. But driving down to Tumbleweed Laundry was definitely worth the 30 minute drive. The washer and dryers were very clean and facility was well maintained. The washers are high capacity so we could do multiple loads at once finishing in under an hour. We got a chance to meet the owner and he was very kind even taking our picture at in front of the Marfa sign outside. Highly highly recommend."
"It does not have a clear sign and is small but has 12 medium washers and 12 large dryers. Can easily wash multiple loads but nothing so big as a large comforter or duvet. Relatively clean with regular Laundromat accomodations. Parking is unclear."
"Coin-fed laundry with detergent/dryer sheet dispenser and coin changer. I’m roadtripping from the other side of Texas so finding a laundry that wouldn’t jack my clothes up was important. Felipe did a great job of getting my clothes clean and I don’t smell like I’ve been roughing it for almost a week. Not sure about a coffee place stated to be nearby. Nothing seemed open."
