"I don't often have need of a laundromat, but whenever I want to wash my comforter, it's best done in a larger capacity washer and dryer. I arrived at the laundromat shortly before it opened, so I was the first customer to walk in the door. The person on duty brought me a cart to help get my very bulky comforter into the store. I don't carry much cash, so I was expecting to have to buy a laundromat card or to use a credit card directly with the machine. Alex explained the SpeedQueen system used at this laundromat. He helped me download the app and deposit funds in my account (first time is always $10); he helped me select the correct size of machine as well as the wash temperature (I'm an old hand, but I was impressed that he knew so much about appropriate care for my laundry). The app let me know about one minute before the end of cycle on the washer. WOW! And he advised me on the best time for the first run at the dryer ($.75 worth) before rearranging the comforter so that it would all get the benefit of the (low temp) hot air in the dryer. He also estimated the additional time needed (perfectly, I might add; an additional $.50) to finish drying the comforter. When the cycle was finished (another notification from the app), Alex helped me fold the comforter so that I could put it into the basket and then into the cargo area of my vehicle. I don't go to a laundromat unless I have an appliance breakdown or I'm washing something like my comforter. The cleanliness of the establishment, the efficiency of the SpeedQueen system, and Alex's friendly helpfulness will definitely make subsequent trips to the laundromat so much more pleasant than past experiences. I heartily recommend this laundromat, whether you are washing your own laundry, drying your laundry you've washed at home, or taking advantage of their wash and fold service. You can't go wrong."

"The 1st time I visited I was greeted by the owner and he asked if it was my 1st time. He then showed me around the facility and explained how thier app works. He was very friendly and helpful, plus it shows that he takes pride in his business. It's a very clean place and they are constantly maintaining it. The app makes the process very easy since it shows you all the available machines and you can add time to the dryers even if you aren't there. You can receive any notification of your choice one the machine is almost done as well or you can go old school with quarters. The 2nd time I visited I met Donna who was just as courteous. She helped gave me some tips on using the best machine for my clothes and even helped me carry my things to my car when I was done. I posted a picture of her helping someone during my 3rd visit because I can see that she is always helping people out. The owner should be proud to have someone like Donna because you can tell she loves helping people and loves her job. I highly recommend this place as I've been to other laundromats and have never even had any kind of interaction with anyone who worked at any of them. The difference this place makes is that you feel welcomed and valued as a person and customer of the business. Another highlight are the concessions they provide at a really great price! My son even received a free snack from the owner as a little reward for being my helper at the time. This was such a sweet and unexpected gesture and these are all the reasons that will keep us going back to this place."

"This is my first time patronizing Sun Valley Laundromat. My first impression is how clean and organized this laundromat is. Joanne who is the manager immediately helped me and showed me and explained very clearly how to use the washer for my king size comforter. She also gave me advice when drying my comforter! She is very courteous, consistently cleaning all the machines and keeping the whole place clean inside and out. Her friendliness and smile makes washing clothes a great experience! I highly recommended Sun Valley Laundromat! And the music on the tv is very entertaining!"
