Jimmy Garza Emergency Water Removal

"We were sent to this company and got scammed we previously had a leak and used a different company and I wish I remembered who they were. Jimmy Garza charged us over $2,000 to cut the drywall out of our ceiling and puts some fans in our house for 2 days. It was ridiculous and one of the guys tried to justify the prices. Our insurance happened to show us the fact that they double charged us on multiple services they “provided “. Jimmy Garza also didn’t repair the drywall they removed. What is the $2,000 for?"

"Please stay away from this company. We have good insurance that took care, without any issues, of all the repairs after we got a slab leak in our new home. Of course, except for the crazy charges without sense that Jimmy Garza did. We got minimum damage in our home in a small section. They used like 10 huge fans and 2 huge dehumidifiers that were unnecessary. They even used little pieces of blue painter tape for no reason and charged like $300 dollars for just that. Of course, insurance wasn't going to pay for all that nonsense leaving us to pay out of pocket. They didn't even dry our carpet, which made it smell, and we had to replace it. Unfortunately, this was the first time that this happened to us, and we didn't know any better, but now we know, and I want to help you not fall for their scam. Funny enough just to give you an idea, they charged more than the repair itself for the leak, and the contractor to repair the damage to our floors and the mess Jimmy Garza did taking off our base boards."

"Just received a letter to say that they placed a mechanics lien on my property. They did some work for me 6 years ago at the time they cleaned out some water when a pipe burst and now I have to desl with this mess. I thought the company was shady then and now It's confirmed. They overcharge your insurance co and have the check go to them directly so you have no idea. Their work was not even that good. Yes, they cleaned up but made a mess of my baseboards and I had to get many replaced that shouldn't have needed it. Avoid this jerk. It looks like he is doing it to others according to another review. Trying to warn others."

"Be careful with this company. They came back out of nowhere 6 years later collecting on work done that was paid by our insurance company over 6 years ago. We hadn’t even received a notice or phone call or anything until a month ago and they proceeded to put a lien on our house. It’s crazy. We even called the insurance company and have proof they paid them and that Jimmy Garza cashed the check. I would not use this company. When they came and did the work they told us not to worry about anything because they would just get paid by the insurance company and they did. They are very disorganized with their billing. Unless you want a lien put on your house for a mistake they make in their accounting I would stay far away from these guys."
