"This is an extremely racist school. My sister goes here, she’s a junior, she’s black, and so there was a student making racist jokes in class and she told him shut the f*** up. Now the teacher has a problem with cursing but ignores racism and my sister gets a referral and detention and the racist student doesn’t get a word spoken to him. Not the first time something like this has happened or the first year. The students are blatantly racist, making racist jokes, saying racial slurs, racially charged bullying, and the teachers act like they don’t see anything. I’ve gotten in contact with the superintendent for the district and principals of the school and every time we speak they promise how they will look into an incident but nothing has ever been done. Bottom line is if you’re a minority don’t send your child to this school because they will be subjected to nothing but unfair treatment, racism, and prejudice."

"I moved to Fenton, from the city for the schools (elementary and high school). I believe the experiences in and out of the classroom for my two graduated students and one currently attending Summit, prepared them well for college and beyond."

"wouldn't even give this school one star if I could. Worst school in the world. The students are all racist and the staff does nothing about it. The teachers grade you on how much they like you rather then how smart you are. The lunch is complete trash they keep the fruit out for like a week. If you do something bad you only get if major trouble if you're black. Don't EVER send your child to this school you will regret it j too the day you die. Worst school o ever been to I always wake up hoping to. It go but I can't. This school is the biggest joke in the world. TRASHWOOD SUMMIT. Also this school has a major bullying problem but no one wants to solve it. Full of cliques and groups. You won't make it in this school if you aren't wearing lulu lemon."
