"Pool chemicals are expensive and nobody likes that. But if one must spend the money to keep the pool looking great, Leslies in Dripping is the best place to do so. The manager is very helpful and the experience is as easy as can be."

"Questionable. 1. I needed a part for a valve. They told me that it was cheaper to buy a whole valve, and that the part by itself was $92, but the whole valve was about $90, and that was the online price. I found it online in one minute for $21. 2. They sold me a Polaris Pb4SQ pump, claiming it was amazing. Well, the pump has a serious design flaw and the housing cracks all the time, and of course the part is on backorder since everyone needs it. My error for trusting them, but I think they were trying to get units off their shelves. I really don't trust these guys anymore. Fool me once - but this is twice."

"The guy working was incredibly rude and entitled. I tried to ask questions about the chemicals but he wouldn't engage or answer questions. He was only willing to ring me up. Buy your pool chemicals online!"

"I entered the store and asked for 4 gallons of Muratic Acid. I was given a case and told it was 4 gallons of Muratic acid. I was charged 17.99 per gallon. When I checked the bottles I realized I was not sold Muratic acid but “Acid Magic” which is not the same and contains buffers and other ingredients I did not want in my pool. When I came back in the store to return the acid, I was told the "Acid Magic" I was sold was the same thing as Muratic acid. I said it wasn't, that it had other ingredients, and I also said I didn’t want to overpay for something I didn’t want. At this point the store manager became combative and tried to convince me that regular Muratic acid I wanted was the same as the "Acid Magic". He then said the regular Muratic acid was more expensive. When I said I'd like to simply exchange for the regular Muratic Acid he then refused. I'm assuming he knew at this point he was lying about the price and didn't want me to find out. After this, another worker seemed to calm him down a bit and eventually sold me the standard Muratic acid and processed the return. The “Acid Magic” was sold for $17.99 per gallon versus the standard Muratic Acid at $14.99 per gallon. In addition the “Acid Magic” is listed as “31.45% equivalent” whereas the standard Muratic acid is 33%. After I complained that I just had wanted what I asked for, and he didn't need to get upset, he told me to get out of his store, and that I “better run”. He then followed me out of the store following me onto the sidewalk and getting up in my face in a threatening manner. I asked why he was threatening me and if i should call the cops, at which point he said "go ahead, you'll bleed more than me." For reference for others looking for acid, "Acid Magic" has phospates that can damage pool heaters."

"If you are female, prepare to be ignored unless you have a male escort. I maintain my pool by myself, I know what I am doing and talking about. Have some respect for your customers! The rep couldn't get me out fast enough and did not apply my purchase to my rewards account. If he had, he would have seen that I have been a loyal customer. I have slowly moved away from going to Leslie's and this seals the deal. At least, I will not go to this store anymore."
