"Stay away from this place !! We got booted during COVID because I said b.s. to the girl who came to the car to get my dog. We had been coming here for over 15 years. Found an excellent , caring vet at Fox animal hospital in Evanston. He never was pushy with tests , meds or procedures. There prices were much more reasonable. AMC used to be a good place to take your pet , but it seems like they're really slipping downhill. They have Bankers hours now & only try to rob you of your money. They don't care about you or your pet. My faithful friend has recently crossed the rainbow bridge & with the help of Fox animal hospitals 'recommendations we had Lap of Love come to the house for our final goodbye. I feel so guilty that I let AMC treat my dog for so many years , I wish they would of booted us sooner."

"I have been bringing my babies to AMC since their birth over 10 years. The staff and doctors are knowledgeable, kind and always have your babies healthcare at heart. I appreciate everything they have done for my family; keeping my babies well. I highly recommend anyone in need of amazing health care for your babies to see this team. AMC keep up the second to none care."

"Unfortunately, their business practices and customer service have been going in a negative direction year over year. We mostly see Dr. Stewart who is amazing. I have a bully mix with severe environmental allergies and needs monthly apaquel prescriptions to manage his discomfort. Because of the Vet care we put up with their money grabbing behaviors. Two weeks ago, I paid $288.50 for a vet visit with immunization and have to return two weeks later and must pay another $54+ for a Vet approval for already planned immunizations from last Vet visit two weeks ago. Note, in another two weeks we’re scheduled to return again for another $54 vet fee to approve Rabies immunization at $42.74. I understand dogs need to see the vet annually but to charge for consecutive vet visits to administer puppy immunizations occurring within a two-week period of the last Vet exam is excessive. Essentially within a 6 week period we will have to pay an estimated $500+. The gate keeping and added fees for required immunizations is just an opportunity to strong arm their customers into paying for added vet charges. It makes sense, nothing is free but this practice costs are high. When I first started coming 10 plus years ago it was never like this. It's sad to see a place where you get decent VET care tarnished by bad business policies/customer service. Complaints fall on deaf ears and their response is to just go somewhere else. In a 9 min scheduling call I was told 4 times I can go somewhere else, and they’ll send records or else stay and pay their fee with no accommodation. Last visit for two dogs, I paid $288.50 for a puppy vet exam and + 1 immunization +1 flu vaccine, & $336.05 for 2nd dog. Both have to return in two weeks for another set of immunizations."

"A great vet practice with a lot of compassion. The staff all care about my pet, not just the vet. They offer care options if needed and they are very helpful with any issues. Scheduling can be tough sometimes though"

"I have been going to AMC since 2008-ish, and let me tell you, after trying “other” vets, there is no other Vet that is better than AMC. From the staff to the vets, they are all top-notch. Trust me, I am that crazy dog mom!! Dr. Stewart is and will only be my vet for my fur babies! Thank you, AMC, for always loving my babies, treating them kindly, and always being there for me!!"
