"I paid $150 a night for a quiet and private room. I love staying at hotels because i travel long distances and often have to find locations to put my feet up for the night. My experience here is a warning to weary travelers who need their sleep. The staff allows the children to stay unattended. (Safety hazard as well - there are weirdos everywhere, its 2024, -ridiculously true) A gymnastics team was in town and they blasted music, ran and jumped around the halls screaming, and “practicing..” If you’d like to waste money stay here! If you want privacy and no yuppy children ruining your stay till 1 am DO NOT BOOK DOUBLE TREE by Hilton."
"We booked two hotel rooms at this hotel. We are a military family, who have traveled to multiple locations around the world and this is the first time ever that we have booked at a hotel that did not have any parking whatsoever at the end of the night. They had multiple events going on and there was not one parking space available. When we went to the front desk to ask for help, they said sorry there’s nothing they could do. We ended up having to drive all the way to my daughters house. Leave my husbands vehicle at her house and have her drop us off because we couldn’t find parking. Unacceptable! Do NOT STAY HERE!"
"I have stayed by at a lot of Hilton’s and this is the worst one, if I could do negative 1, I would. If this hotel represented Hilton, I would never stay at one of their hotels again. My first room (never a good way to start a story) smelled so musky that I knew if I stayed in the room I would probably wake up sick. I was in the room for tops ten minutes and went back down to the front desk and the same women who I just spoke to and she acted as though she had never spoken to me and wasn’t that apologetic about the room. The new room, while it smelled way better I could hear everything my neighbor was doing. They were clearly watching a movie and when ten approached, a women knocked on the door and said housekeeping. The person had a bunch of fun until 11PM. I stayed at this hotel because I had an early day and work in Skokie but live about 30 miles away and instead of dealing with traffic, I thought I would save myself the hassle. It would have been a blessing to have that hassle after that night. To end the trip at 645 when I was leaving I want to grab a cup of plain coffee and say it was $3!"
"I understand the holiday season can be a bit frustrating especially when you work in the hospitality industry. However the service we received this evening is beyond unacceptable. The mistake I may have may during our stay was misunderstanding one of the front desk managers, who was willing to work with me on extending my during this very bust time. That was yesterday, today was worse. The current front desk manager, Jen, was a rude and honestly a little disrespectful. After being told that my wife and I were locked out of our room and that the extension had not been honored or completed, she walked off ignored my wide and I and basically told us to pack our stuff and leave. After I gathered my belongings I then went back to speak with Jen further about the issue because there was no effort for her to even hear about the situation at all during our first conversation. After she allowed me to give her details about what happened she simply made a phone call and got all the answers she needed to then sarcastically apologize and say it was a misunderstanding. I would have has no problems spending the extra money to stay the extra night especially because I was celebrating my wife's birthday. This however makes me regret becoming a Hilton honors member to be shooed away after one look. As someone who works in customer service and as a manager I understand the customer is not always right. Jen didn't even try to gather information to find a solution. She's Aldo the same front desk manager who didn't call for our room to be cleaned after we asked so nicely before leaving this morning. Things at this location need to change immediately."
"Terrible. Absolute disgrace for a Hilton property. Shockingly bad all around. Room not ready at check-in. Told it would be a few minutes. 2 hours later we got our room. They couldn't get keys made. Computer problems. Suite had no linens in the room for the pull out bed. 2 towels for a suite booked for 3 adults and 2 kids. Large black wire trip hazard running across the floor to the TV. TV was hanging off wall on one bracket. Rude front desk staff. Completely oblivious to Hilton Gold benefits. Suite was missing a floor lamp. Very dark in living area of room. Loud construction noises. Only positives are location and very kind maintenance man who found a lamp so my elderly mother could see in the room. This is a last resort option. Avoid if possible."
