"I own a one-of-a-kind tiny chapel. A drunk loser guest smashed out a window. I needed it replaced fast, before an upcoming wedding. I was beyond panicked as the window was antique glass and an odd size and not common shape. Several people recommended Jim at Blue Moon. I explained the situation to him. He tracked down replacement glass immediately and made time in his busy schedule to cut it for me. Then, when I was replacing the window, I broke the replacement. This pretty much caused my head to explode with frustration and sorrow and a good dose of self-flagellation. To be honest, I was embarrassed to tell Jim. But I did. He ordered more glass, cut it precisely, and was so incredibly kind and patient through the entire process. The replacement replacement fit perfectly. The window is in. So, yeah, he replaced my pane AND removed my pain. I cannot recommend this shop highly enough. Incredible service. Great prices. I am supremely satisfied."
"They have variety of classes including bead making, glass blowing, fusing etc. Jim-The instructor for our glass blowing class was a great teacher. The staff is very friendly as well. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience."

Jim & Rose and staff were so genuine, kind, and helpful. True artisans with "Deep in the Heart of Texas" hearts. Saw some real treasures that I have to find the right place for in my abode. "I have taken 3 classes at blue moon now: ornament glass blowing, beginner lead stained glass and beginner copper foil. These experiences are among my favorite things I've done in Austin since moving here in 2015. Both instructors I've gotten to work with, Lisa and Jim, are such kind and talented people. Deb and Kris who I have chatted with in the store are also always so nice and helpful. This is a special business with special people making it what it is.
