"I literally just left this store. The lady checking Ppl out with her holiday spirit head piece could be the furthest from any holiday cheer. I was simply looking for a coupon as my 2 year wasn’t wanting to be patient anymore. She couldn’t of been more rude and impatient herself. Very short with me and pretty much making me feel like an idiot bc I couldn’t find a coupon for their decrepit store."

"I went on my weekly trip to Joann’s (Darien) today and to my surprise, my favorite manager, Kim, is back, and for good !!! I was so happy to see her and told her so ! That store has gone downhill since she’s been gone and I told her that too !! Welcome back Kim ! You’re the best !!"

"Very rude cashier that gave attitude for a return and understanding a charge breakdown. Visibly rolling her eyes and made rude remarks that she had to explain the pricing. Would not recommend coming to this location."

"Dianne at joanns in downers grove She told me to tell my two year old child who was laughing to be quiet and said it was inappropriate for him to be loud in the store. He was not having a tantrum he was simply laughing with my siblings. There was another associate named Sarah next to her who thought Dianne was still helping me when in reality Dianne had walked away in order to stop helping us when she had told me herself to come back so I could add more fabric to my order. I spent almost 100 dollars at your store and I’ve been shopping at this Joanns for years and never received this kind of treatment. Then when we were checking out I had the bad luck to get checked out by her. Another customer next to me offered a coupon because I spent over 75 dollars and Dianne decided to answer for me and say no she can’t no thank you. I told her to cancel the transaction and try the coupon and she actually rolled her eyes and scanned it. This is ridiculous and so unbelievably rude. After she tried she said it didn’t apply I said that’s fine and moved on. I wasn’t rude or disrespectful since she is an older lady but i felt uncomfortable my entire shopping experience with her and I will not be returning to this location after years of coming here because of her disrespect and ignorance. Once again her name is Dianne. Shoppers beware. Sarah was helpful and took over for her disrespectful coworker."
