"Had my mothers taxes done. Dropped off end of March/early April. Was given the run around for months on them being “done” and same questions from them everytime I would call for an update. Finally received them in September. With a finish date on them of April!!! Yes they had been done since April!!! I have since still received 3 more tax bills from the US Treasury and two other states in the union that Purk and Associates messed up her taxes on. My Uncle used them as well and had similar troubles. Our family was referred to them after our Accountant of many years retired. NEVER WILL USE Purk and Associates again. Highly unprofessional and unreliable."

I decided to use her firm to help me keep my company records up to date and to explain to me, in laymen's terms, the state of my company so I would understand what the numbers mean. The reason for the two stars is not because of the actual accounting work, but for the inability to understand my needs. Instead, her firm just sent over the balance sheet and P&L over and over every time I asked for it to be explained. After the third time I gave up. I do not recommend this firm if you want help understanding your business."
