"I was referred to Account Tax STL by a friend and former co worker while looking for an option to the out of state tax attorney I used the past several years. My tax situation is complicated in that includes several trusts each requiring it's own return in addition to my joint return. Sending a lot of financial documents to the Florida attorney got burdensome not to mention concerns with personal information being sent over the internet, encrypted or otherwise. A single face to face meeting where I provided relevant documents and a discussion about lead time for processing, fees, and future tax strategy went well, the CPA Lisa Meister was attentive, cordial, very professional and asked all the right questions. My phone calls were promptly returned and Ms. Meister was patient with my probing questions. Returns were completed in a reasonable time frame particularly as this business was conducted during the Covid 19 pandemic shutdown. I was comfortable visiting the office where all standard precautions and social distancing protocols were observed. The cost for the tax prep service was competitive and actually a bit less than what I was paying the attorney and significantly less than a previous accountant so overall I'm completely satisfied with the services provided. I would not hesitate recommending to a family member or friend"
"Whoa! What an absolutely terrible, unorganized company. There were many many MANY issues, including: merging my financial statements with one of my business partner's other companies, filing our return under the incorrect EIN, and putting the incorrect addresses and professions on the return. These mistakes were just pure negligence. Two months later I got a $400 penalty from the IRS because they filed my return late. I would highly recommend avoiding this company for your tax needs."
