Doodle Heaven Ranch

"Super professional. I called in the morning, got an afternoon appointment and Kit ended up working on our doodle for over five hours. He hates scissors and clippers and brushes/combs and was overgrown and badly matted and tired and miserable. He just wanted to lie on the AC event all day after his morning walk. He came back a happy active dog, bouncing around. Thank you for saving our dog! I appreciate all your care and love you obviously put into your work."

"Unfortunately, I and 3 of my friends hoping to use Kit will never know how great she might be. We totally got off to a bad start on the phone before I arrived. She told me not to come for my dogs appointment. That was a very expensive 40 mile trip in inclement weather. I doesn’t matter the details. She totally misunderstood what I was trying to say, I thought I was helping her & her schedule. I am still not sure what part she misunderstood but that’s the way it goes. I am always flexible and try to work with people. She had rescheduled me from the day before to take her sick horse to the vet. I was very kind and courteous and readily agreed. She texted me today and offered me a earlier appointment. I was already on the way at 10:00 for a 12:00 appointment, because of the weather we started early to make sure we were on time. Since here 10:00 cancelled,I assumed she was without a client so we went straight there, in case she wanted to get her in and move someone else into my dogs spot. Then the conversation got really bizarre , and she was talking about us being more than 15 minutes late for the 10:00 appointment, and we couldn’t sit in her drive till the noon appointment, which we would not have done anyway. And from there she just decided she wanted us to leave, that was some crazy conversation. I assured her it was fine we would just return for the noon appointment. She knew we were driving already and couldn’t get there for the 10:00 appt. @ 10:00. I am just baffled by the entire interaction. My friends will not seek her services either. I have nothing good to report!"

"I don't bring my dogs to doodle ranch because it's the cheapest. I bring them because Katherine is a kind and thoughtful person who I trust with my dogs. She's always up for a quick chat. She has a beautiful property with horses, goats and the occasional barn cat. It's a wonderful experience being there as a human, let alone a pet! Can't recommend Doodle Heaven enough!"

"Had our 10 month old mini golden doodle groomed for the first time to today. Kit was very communicative before and during the appointment including video updates during the groom! Milo is still getting use to grooming and Kit was very understanding and adapted quickly to put him at ease. We were charged a special handling fee (extra$15) due to Milo not behaving during his groom, but now that Kit knows his idiosyncrasies, she said we will not be charged that again in the future. Otherwise, prices are the going rate for the area, but I like there is no up-charging- nails, glands, ear cleaning are all included in the price! Looking forward to going back."

"Had a wonderful experience here. My 6 year old Labradoodle had the best time. Kit did an amazing job with him, and I am not an easy customer. My pup was so happy and looked like he spent a relaxing day at the spa. Kit is very skilled and I couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend. It was also nice to hear that they do boarding as well. I will be taking advantage of that service in the near future! Thanks again. Wilson looks and feels amazing!!!"
