"I wish I had checked on this guy beforehand. Had an inspection of the crawlspace and found it needs encapsulation and mold remediation that quite obviously did not just happen over the last 6 months. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Run from this inspector. I would sue him if I could."

"Chris is not a thorough inspector. He does not do anything other than walk around and take pictures. Make sure you do the walk through with him and record his answers because he will later deny any accountability. When you discover items that he allowed to pass inspection and call him on it, he becomes angry and defensive."
"Absolutely worthless! I guess you get what you pay for. The man did not even bring a ladder with him so he could inspect the roof. No attempt to access the attic. Several significant items needing repair that he did not mention or note in his report. Hire someone else. This guy is cheaper for reason! NEVER AGAIN!"
"Heartland Home Inspection inspected a home we were buying. This guy is incompetent, in our opinion. He didn’t inspect the crawl space. He crawled in a couple of feet and took a picture. The home is 3,000 sq feet. Subsequently, when taking bids to have the crawl space encapsulated, we found out that the crawl space was full of mold, among other things including multiple major electrical problems. Same thing in the attic….took a picture from the top of the ladder. No mention of the multiple major electrical problems in the attic. He didn’t even go up on the roof, just took a picture from the yard. Do not waste your money on this guy when you need the real facts about the home you are wanting to buy."
